PANAJI: The South Goa Member of Parliament Narendra Sawaikar has submitted a representation to the Union Minister for Road, Transport, and Highways and Shipping, Nitin Gadkari as regards issues raised by the tourist taxi owners associations from north as well as south Goa against implementation of speed governors to the tourist taxis in the state.

Referring to the related petitions received by him from both the associations, Sawaikar in his representation to Gadkari has stated, “It may kindly be seen from both the petitions that the tourist taxi owners in Goa are apprehensive about implementation of the fitment of the speed limiting devices, which is likely to adversely affect their livelihood.
