Monsoon is on your way and if you’re worried about getting your style drenched from top to bottom then these hacks will surely solve your problem!
Wear cool and simple: This monsoon say bye bye to your long jeans and maxi dresses. Wear light and cool clothing like knee length dresses, denim skirts and light weight shorts. The best trend this year is to wear off shoulder tops and casual dresses that would make you look super stylish. Check out brands like Vero Moda, Zara or Promod!
Tropical sheild: Find a tropical printed raincoat or umbrella that really makes you look cute. My favourite is the watermelon print all over.
Mind your feet: Keep leather or suede shoes away and welcome childhood days with bright colour gumboots or plastic shoes. You can also try shopping for some teal colour CROCS! They are comfortable, stylish and fun during the rains.
Things to handle: When there are important things to carry around during monsoon a bag is the most essential for your day-to-day routine. Find some transparent neon colour sling bag that is easy to carry on your shoulder. You can also shop for a nylon patchwork colourful or tropical printed messenger bag that helps organise your things and is trendy too!
Time prompt: This rainy season try wearing a bright colour digital watch like G-Shock or a smart watch that is totally waterproof and interesting.
Accessorise your style: Say no to gold or silver platted jewellery this monsoon! Try polymer clay jewellery or make your own necklace with cute stones like ceramic or glass beads. I would suggest you wear cute earring studs, glass beaded bracelets and a simple chain with a mini pendent like a colourful owl. I know your accessories might not look loud but it will be a good element to your monsoon look.
Radiate beauty: Who said we can’t look beautiful in rains? There are makeup products like smudge proof lipsticks and waterproof eye shadows, eyeliners, foundations, etc, that you can try out. One of my favourite brands are Mac and Chambor. Try using retro matte lipsticks by Mac and trust me you will love it!
Try these hacks and don’t forget to splash some water this season!
