The Registrar of Cooperative Societies will on July 12 pass an order over the enquiry conducted in the alleged illegalities committed in the Goa Milk Producers Union, which is popularly known as Goa Dairy.
Registrar of Cooperative Societies Sanjiv Gadkar told ‘The Navhind Times’ on Thursday that except for one, all incumbent directors and former directors of the Goa Dairy have replied to show-cause notices issued by his office.
Acting upon the complaints of alleged irregularities in purchasing machineries, raw materials for cattle feed and procurement of milk from outside the state, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies had ordered an inquiry into the functioning of Goa Dairy through a chartered accountant Shridhar alias Yatish Vernekar.
