Goa Tourism participates at ABP tourist spot event in Kolkata

PANAJI: It was a glamour packed 3-day event for Goa Tourism at the ABP in Kolkata held recently with not only travel and trade, but also Bengali Bollywood stars making the big dash to the state’s pavilion.Goa Tourism promoted its iconic tourist spot – Colva in addition to showcasing all its latest offerings and  upcoming events  and  activities. Goa Tourism was represented by Rajesh Kale, dy director, dept of tourism, govt of Goa and Deepak Narvekar, senior manager and PRO, GTDC during the event. Sayantika Banerjee, Chaiti Ghosal and Ushasie Chakraborty were among  the many  film actresses  from Kolkata who visited Goa Tourism’s  pavilion and interacted with the delegation. ABP tourist spot in Kolkata is the biggest B2C travel fair and is attended by thousands of visitors every year. NT

 

Bombay Bazar’s celebrates 31st anniversary

PANAJI: Bombay Bazar, Panaji celebrated its 31st Anniversary recently. To make the occasion memorable the store offered its loyal patrons a flat discount of 25% on the full range in the store while ensuring that stocks were new and fresh. The offer was also extended to its sister concern Baron. The sale period witnessed an over whelming response, with droves of customers coming from all over Goa as well as faraway places such as Hubli, Belgaum, Sawantwadi. Academy of Pastry Arts opens new centre in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Academy of Pastry Arts India, a trusted name in the field of pastry and culinary schools, celebrated the grand opening of their new centre in Mumbai, Andheri (East) which is Academy’s third centre in India. Chef Manjit Singh Gill, president, Indian Federation of Culinary Associations, was the chief guest, while the guests of honor were chef Jean Francois Arnaud (MOF) and chef Christophe Morel. The Mumbai centre of Academy, like the centres in Gurugram and Bengaluru will follow the global curriculum and will be run by professional bakers and culinary experts of the industry. The centre will offer its flagship advance diploma courses meant for those who want to take culinary and pastry as their career choice.
