CRI Pumps bags EEPC’s export award for excellence

PUDUCHERRY: CRI Pumps, renowned for their range of finely engineered pumps and motors, won the EEPC’s Export Award for Excellence for the twelfth time in a row. The award ceremony which was held recently at Puducherry saw industry players from diverse industries, and was rewarded for their achievements in their respective specialised services. Her Excellency Dr Kiran Bedi, Lt Governor of Puducherry, presented the EEPC’s Export Award for Excellence to the joint managing director, CRI Pumps G Selvaraj, for the outstanding performance during the year 2014-15. Speaking after the ceremony, Selvaraj said, “We feel honored to receive this prestigious excellence award for the twelfth time. This award is in recognition of the team’s hard work and superior performance that is aimed at achieving excellence in everything we do.”

 

Welspun India expands its offering in advanced textiles

ANJAR (GUJARAT): Welspun India Ltd, one of the world’s leading home textiles manufacturer, has forayed into new technologies in its technical textile business with its state-of-the-art needle entangled advance textile plant in Anjar, Gujarat. The plant was inaugurated by Minister of Textiles, Smriti Irani on March 18. This advanced and innovative technology will provide non-woven solutions for high-end industrial applications such as filtration, acoustics, automotive, fire safety, thermal insulation, vibration control, noise control, aero-space, defence and mass transportation. The chairman Welspun Group B K Goenka said “The new facility will enhance our product offerings and provide cutting-edge solutions in high-growth areas such as industrial and defence applications.”
