In the run-up to the forthcoming Lok Sabha election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address and interact with booth-level BJP workers from the North Goa parliamentary constituency through videoconferencing on January 27.
“The videoconferencing will be held at the Azad Maidan in Panaji and around 6,000 booth-level workers of the party will be present,” said state BJP president Vinay Tendulkar speaking to this daily.
A week back, the Prime Minister had addressed the party workers from South Goa.
Tendulkar said that Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will visit Goa on January 27 and is likely to
inaugurate the new cable-stayed Mandovi bridge the same day.
Tendulkar said that a delegation of the state BJP will soon visit New Delhi to meet the party’s top leadership to discuss the issues related to by-elections and to apprise the central leadership to convince the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party not to contest the by-elections.
