Bank of India, Goa, that is is aggressively promoting alternate delivery channel products as per government policy in force for digital banking, launched payment gateway services at Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Arambol, recently. The launch was by Laxmikant Parsekar, ex –chief minister, Goa and chairman of Harmal Panchkroshi Shikshan Mandal in the presence of Udesh Natekar, principal, Subhash Phadate, deputy zonal manager, Vinayak Naik, chief manager, Sanjeev Kumar, manager Arambol branch and Amit Singh, marketing executive of BOI and staff of the college.
The facility is expected to provide easy solutions for payment of college fees to the student’s community through internet banking without visiting a bank and with less cash in hand. The initiative is time saving will reduce labour in management of funds and accounting. The bank is putting all the efforts to promote digital banking facility and payment gateways in schools, colleges and other institutions.
