OL Snows, Perpetual Soccour, Manovikas advance

MARGAO: Our Lady of Snows High School, Raia, Perpetual Soccour Convent High School, Navelim and Manovikas English Meduim School, Margao entered the semifinals of girls under-14 inter-school football tournament after winning their respective matches played on Saturday at Manora grounds.
Our Lady of Snow High School defeated St Xavier High School, Velim 2-0 with Pesang Sharpa and Sonia Singh finding the mark. In the other match, Perpetual Soccour Convent, Navelim registered a 2-0 win against Infant Jesus High School, Colva. Chelsea Crasto scored both the goals for the Navelim school.
In the last match of the day, Manovikas English Meduim School, Margao defeated Kings School, Sao Jose de Areal 4-3 via the tiebreaker. The teams played a 1-1 draw during the regulation time with Somaya Mukundan scoring for Manovikas and Angelie for Kings School. In the tiebreaker, Somaya Mukundan, Sara Baretto and Adora Sequeira scored for Manovikas while Angelie and Genis found the mark for Kings School.
