PANAJI: Golden gangs, Rs 10 gangs, laptop gangs, HBT gangs, car gangs, motorcycle gangs, mobile gangs, computer gangs — the list of gangs in the criminal world is quite long.
Speaking to this daily, a police official said that motive of all these gangs is to rob, survive and thrive — they have perfected the tricks of their trade.

PANAJI: The sarpanch of Penha de Franca, Mr Rajesh Volvoikar, who is aspiring to contest from Porvorim, said that first and the foremost thing he wants to do is to construct a sub-way and relieve the Porvorim residents of the tension they face while crossing the NH-17, as the traffic on the road has grown manifold.
PANAJI: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) legislator from Benaulim and former tourism minister, Mr Francisco Xavier Pacheco, on Friday, quit his seat in the state assembly ahead of his imminent entry into the Goa Vikas Party, which is headed by his wife, Ms Viola Pacheco.
