PANAJI: The Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat would present the budget for the state for the financial year 2010-11 in the state assembly on Thursday afternoon. The budget session of the state assembly began on Monday with the customary address by the Governor, Dr Shivinder Singh Sidhu.

The Chief Minister would seek vote on account for the first four to five months of the financial year. The voting on the finance bill would be held on Saturday.
