PANAJI: The DIG, Mr Ravindra Yadav on Thursday said the Goa police could consider sending a team to Sweden if the Swedish model Lucky Farmhouse fails to depose before the Goa police as soon as possible to help investigations in drug peddler-politician-police nexus.

Mr Yadav informed that the Goa police have asked Lucky Farmhouse to come to Goa at the earliest. However, she replied that she would be able to come to Goa only in August.
The DIG said the Goa police may dispatch a team to Sweden as a last resort as it involves a lot of formalities, and hoped that the model would co-operate with the Goa police.
On May 11, the crime branch sent two emails to Farmhouse asking her to come and depose before the Goa police regard the drug dealer-politician-police nexus.
The crime branch had earlier vehemently denied involvement of any politician in the drug nexus.
