MARGAO: A delegation of GBA, BVAC, Voice of Villagers-Verna, Keri Nagrik Samiti, and a few other were assured by the Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat that the final draft Regional Plan for Goa 2021 will be notified for public suggestions within six months. They met the Chef Minister at his Margao residence on Saturday  morning.

This is as per his assurance at his official residence on March 4.
He also promised to issue instructions, with the concurrence of the TCP Board, that no NOCs will be given for ‘development’ in SEZs and no hill cutting or filling of cultivable paddy fields, mangroves, etc; would be allowed. There was talk of a structured meeting  and the Chief Minister had promised to meet the delegation later. However, that meeting did not take place. He also promised to make an announcement in the Assembly later on
Saturday to that effect.
