PANAJI: ‘Film Makers’, the association of Goan film producers has condemned the decision of the ESG to invite selected film producers for the launching of the revised Film Finance Scheme, on April 28.
Mr Milind Mhadgut of ‘Film Makers’ told ‘The Navhind Times’ that the ESG officials have already started showing their true colours by selectively inviting only few film producers of their choice to the function.
The members of the subcommittee, which had revised the scheme, when contacted also complained about similar treatment given to them. “We have no knowledge about the launching of the scheme and have just been ignored from the list of invitation for the launching of the scheme,” a member said, “And to think that we had worked so hard on the revised scheme.”
“This is unfair and we have been deeply hurt,” the member reacted.
