Director and vice chairman of Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), Rajendra Talak announced that his seventh film, ‘Miranda House’ will be released across all 12 theatres in Goa on April 17. The Marathi version of the film will simultaneously release in Maharashtra on the same day.
In Goa, the film will be released in all Inox theatres in Panaji, Margao and Porvorim; Cine Vishant Margaon; Z-square Panaji; K Sera Sera Vasco; Heera Talkies, Bicholim; Cine Niagara, Curchorem; Cine Paradise, Cuncolim; Carnival Cinema, Ponda and Nandi Cinema, Pernem. The suspense thriller is produced by Rajendra Talak Creations in Konkani and Iris Production in Marathi.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Talak said: “The cast of the film includes Pallavi Subhash, Milind Gunaji, Sainkeet Kamat, Prince Jacob, John DSilva, Audhoot Sahakari, Sanjay Talwadkar, Sanjiv Prabhu, Madhavi Desai and Anil Raikar.”
Tiatrist John D’Silva also expressed his happiness and said that it is a great thing to work on the film and he appealed to all the people to watch the film in large numbers.
“Many films in Goa have released but it is one of the first Konkani films to release in all theatres across Goa and therefore, people need to avail this opportunity, go ahead and watch the film,” said Prince Jacob.
The lead actor in the film is well known Goan actor Sainkeet Kamat who has worked in popular serials like Tujha Majha Breakup (Zee Marathi), Ratris Khel Chale (Zee Marathi), Hya Gojirvanya Gharat (Marathi Play). Miranda House is Kamat’s debut film in Konkani as well as Marathi. Milind Gunaji of Goan origin has played a pivotal role in the film. He has previously performed in several Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Punjabi and Kannada films.
The cinematographer of Miranda House is Suraj Kurade who has made his mark in the Gujarati film industry, with films like Reva, Chor Bani Thangat Kare, Family Circus, Gujarati Wedding in Goa, Apne to Dhirubhai to his credit. The film has been shot at various locations in Goa like Margao, Betalbatim and Velsao.
