MES College wins Colossus 7.0


Department of Computer Applications, Don Bosco College, Panaji organised Colossus 7.0, an inter-collegiate IT festival. The event had competitions like code designing, debate, treasure hunt, web designing, quiz, poster making, and photo meme and stress interview.

Chief guest of the event was proprietor of Sapna Technology, Nilesh Naik who briefed the students on the importance of professionalism. He explained how skills valued over qualification by IT companies today. Guest of honour for the event was provincial, Panaji province, Fr Felix Fernandes. Manager, Fr Wilfred Fernandes and officiating principal, Cedric Silveira shared a few insights on technology and the nature of the computer applications course.

Winners of different events were announced at the valedictory ceremony. Seven colleges participated in the event with the runners-up trophy being won by St Xavier’s College, Mapusa while the winner of Colossus 7.0 was MES College, Zuarinagar.
