Mahindra’s NuvoSport production has touched its end, due to the dwindling sales of the product since the beginning of the year. It is being reported that during the month of May this year, Mahindra did not dispatched even one single unit of the model. This clearly makes a point that the home grown car manufacturer is producing the NuvoSport from quite some months now.
In terms of features, the Nuvosport was offered with seven-seater layout and two jump seats in the boot, while the top-end variant will feature an eight-way adjustable front seat, dual DIN touchscreen infotainment system, centre console system, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, and reverse parking camera.
The NuvoSport compact SUV made its launch in 2016, in order to make its position, replacing the Quanto, but was unsuccessful. It was November 2017 that Mahidnra dispatched the last time with just 11 examples of the sub-4 meter compact SUV. Mechanically, the NuvoSport was powered by a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder mHAWK100 diesel engine that also caters the TUV300. It produces 100bhp of maximum power and 240 Nm of peak torque. In terms of transmission options, there are choices of two – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Autoportal
