Dicarpale SC storm in to Guirdolim Panchayat Cup final

CHANDOR: Dicarpale Sports Club scored a fluent 2-0 win over Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda to storm into the finals of the 15th All Goa Guirdolim Panchayat Cup, organized by Guirdolim Club and played at Chandor church ground. The first goal for Dicarpale came in the 3rd minute through Robinson Colaco. The second goal came not too late in the 16th minute through Agnelo Colaco who had received a pass from Piedade Colaco. Changing ends both sides had plenty of chances to change the scoreboard but all were missed.

Don Bosco HS win U-12 7-a-side football tourney

PANAJI: Don Bosco High School B defeated Don Leonor Memorial High School, Porvorim by a solitary goal to emerge champions of the IX Don Bosco-Sporting Clube de Goa Under 12 seven a side football tournament. Ronan Pereira scored the winning goal for Don Bosco HS B.

PANAJI: Tiswadi Taluka Chess Association along with Goa Chess Association will be organising the Late Shri Ramesh D Pinge Memorial Goa State U-13 Open & Girls Chess Championship/Selection from Feb 16 to 18 at Mahalaxmi Hindu Vachan Mandir Hall Mala Panaji. Players born on or after 1/1/2006 can participate and come along with their birth certificate as age proof, which should be submitted before Feb 15. Damodar Vidyalaya register easy win

PANAJI: In the Dilip Sardesai U-16 years Canacona taluka Inter school cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association, Damodar Vidyalaya registered a comfortable win over St Anthony High School, Galgibag. St Anthony scored 83 runs for the loss of 9 wickets which was chased down by Damodar Vidyalaya in 10.3 over losing only 4 wickets.
