The LaLaLand Festival is back for its second edition. Consisting of a medley of 22 acts, the festival which gets underway on October 19 aims to showcase unique talent along with the idea of promoting sustainability.
Right from spectacular acrobatic performances to thought-provoking interactions like mime cabaret, theatre, spoken word, LaLaLand is packed with all. The festival will showcase artists from around the globe and create a platform for interaction and learning through engaging workshops. You can try out skateboarding or learn the art of balance from Samar Farooqui by registering for a slacklining workshop.
Musicians and singers known for curating music in diverse genres will be a part of the festival. All music lovers are sure to be satisfied by the wide range of styles right from Fado by Nadia Rebelo to Tritha Electric in an acoustic set up. For the Goankars, the young talents of Uncut Diamonds will play Konkani and folk music as well as jazz and pop. For the musical finale, OURA, a new project by Ranjit Arapurakal featuring international musicians along with Goan guitarist Elvis Lobo will be live in action.
The games corner too is loaded with thrilling games for both the kids and grown-ups. The garden area will have a flea market, selling locally sourced, sustainable and local products. Seize the beauty and magic of LaLand by grabbing yourself a drink as you relish local and international delights.
