MAPUSA: The feast of the patron saint of St Michael’s Convent High School, Vagator- Anjuna will be celebrated on September 29 in the school.

The feast will be celebrated with Eucharistic celebration at 9 a.m. with the main celebrant being parish priest of St Michael Church Anjuna, Fr Thomas Gonsalves. This will be followed by the inauguration of an exhibition by the sarpanch of Anjuna, Mr Lavinio Rebello. The exhibition, covering topics on science, art and craft, will also see a rangoli competition, and will be open for public viewing on September 29 and September 30. St Anthony’s Parish Youth will also be organizing a dance competition for the students. A climate change exhibition by Dr Joseph D’Souza of science and technology is an added feature to this year’s feast celebrations. On September 30th an essay and elocution competition will be for the holy family of Nazareth educational society schools.
