Four artists, four distinctive ways of imaging the world.
Aniketa Deshpande from Nagpur with her Utopian world of endless fantasy, absolute serenity and harmony, and ethereal delusion.
Minal Shah from Ahmedabad talks about keeping her feet on the ground and yet, visits her dream world. “I see myself as a rational dreamer, one who can dive into the world of unlimited fantasy, keeping one’s feet on the solid ground of the real world at the same time, and be able to enjoy both the worlds,” says Minal.
Rajesh Ahlawat, from Rohtak, Haryana, a self taught artist, exhibits his dreamlike suite on Goa, which he visits every year.
The fourth of this Quartet, Rajesh Ram Kumar, from Vishakhapatam, who is exhibiting ‘Scapes’ based on the ubiquitous symbology of South Mumbai with a delightful mix of photography and fine art.
The exhibition will be on from April 1 till April 30 at the Kerkar Art Gallery.
