The Hillsong London band is probably best known the world over for its songs of praise and worship, however, there is so much more to what they are than simply music!

The songs that come out of the church are an outward expression of what is going on in the hearts of the people of Hillsong – a heart that is all about making a difference in the lives of others. Passionate, Euro-styled worship has been a core driving force for the explosive growth at Hillsong, London.   Mixing a sound from their Hillsong Australia heritage with the current European/London music scene, this Euro-worship live experience has a fresh and exciting yet familiar sound.  Hillsong London has altogether released three live albums.

Over the past three years they have also travelled the globe, leading hearts from many nations to life-changing moments in the midst of worship. In the past year, Hillsong London has played to 335,000 fans in 57 cities and 25 countries.

And now lead by the band member Peter Wilson they will be in Goa to spread their magic here as they will be performing live here on April 6 from 6.30 p.m. onwards at the Open Air Auditorium of Kala Academy. This event is open for all.

They will be performing here as part of the noble cause to promote the causes of the Bethesda Life Centre at St Cruz. They are the non profit and non commercial organisation that provides approximately 130 children of HIV infected parents with a Home. “These are all healthy kids whose parents have passed away and are from less fortunate backgrounds,” says Terence of Bethesda Life Centre.

Through this event they are creating awareness about women and children in distress and wish to promote social and corporate responsibilities to secure the future of the underprivileged.

They are also planning to raise funds through the voluntary contribution by the audience. “There is no entry fee for this concert. But, we will ask people to donate voluntarily during this event. It is an entirely free event that is open for all,” adds Terence.

Along with this home they are also catering to children with learning difficulties along with Nirmala Institute of Education. They also do counselling and provide all assistance to approximately 100 HIV infected men and women.
