The release of the CD, Goem Gaita was the fructification of a dream of the Naad Brahma, Vasco team.

After the traditional lighting of the lamp, presentation of mementoes to the poets and CD release, poets Adv Uday Bhemre, Ramesh Veluskar, Dr Bhicaji Ghanekar, Dr Anant Hede and Chandrika Padgaonkar all showered the team with their words of wisdom.

Dr Hede highlighted the 18 events that the Naad Brahma team achieved within its short 16 months of inception which included recording of songs for FM rainbow, a few TV recordings for Goa Doordarshan, innumerable live performances and two CDs viz- Baki Sanchit (a compilation of poems of Bakibab Borkar) and the recent Goem Gaita.

Dr Bhicaji Ghanekar congratulated the team and asked them to aim for greater laurels. He also mentioned that he was one of the rare Goan poets who has had maximum number of his poems put forth into musical composition. From Ajit Kadkade to the present team of Naad Brahma, many a talented voice has sung his poems, he claimed.

Ramesh Veluskar lauded the Naad Brahma team and asked them to work towards creating a musical composition of the poems of Rabindranath Tagore.

Adv Uday Bhemre said that Goa being a culturally vibrant and tolerant society has always imported music, art and culture from other states and across the world. It is now time to export our culture across, he said.
