The weekend witnessed the sedate but elegant launch of the much-awaited designer luxury boutique ‘The Sol’ located in the recesses of the scenic villageof Nerul.
Designed by fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, The Sol hopes to achieve a chic convergence of the quaint Goan landscape and its rich Portuguese endowed heritage with a dash of world class Indian warmth and hospitality.
While the DJ engaged some cool ambient music for the purpose of entertainment, the invitees spread around the internally lit courtyard pool or lounged at the bar sampling some fine cuisine. Animated conversation and a general air of vibrant enjoyment beset the party atmosphere. The guest list beckoned some eminent names from the travel and hospitality industry as well as some other well-known personalities.
“I think the hospitality industry in Goa should get into exploring the beautiful internal beauty of Goainstead of just concentrating on the sun and sand aspect of tourism. It is important to showcase our natural beauty so abundantly available and the unique lifestyle that is the Goan way of living. The Sol is meant to be an ideal getaway to a more tranquil and luxurious setting close to nature away from the stress and noise of city life,” says Sun Leisure’s Mr Suraj Morajkar excited at the launch of the designer boutique hotel.
A venture of Sun Leisure (India) Pvt Ltd, ‘The Sol’ is operated by King Arthur Hospitality and Solutions Ltd in technical collaboration with Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd.
