A number of Bollywood films release every year, having popular actors and newcomers as well. But it’s rare to see newcomers grab the audience attention and that too, in their debut film. One such newcomer is Siddhant Chaturvedi who won hearts with his performance as MC Sher in the film ‘Gully Boy’. He left a remarkable impression in spite of sharing space with Ranveer Singh.
And just like he entertained the audience on big screen, Siddhant mesmerised the guests present for the knowledge seminar at Goafest 2019, with his outspoken and humorous nature and not to forget his charming personality.
Having acted before in web series such as ‘Life Sahi Hai’ by Luv Ranjan, followed by the Amazon Prime web series ‘Inside Edge’, Siddhant however, became a household name only with ‘Gully Boy’. Speaking about how he feels to suddenly get all the fame, he says: “It was my dream to be here and my dream is now coming true. It was not unexpected or unplanned. I had already thought about it. It was my goal and passion. Now I have to keep working and do some great work,” he says, adding that he wants to play varied characters and does not want to repeat himself. “I think it gets boring when you play yourself and I want to play different and crazy characters,” he states. The actor has already shot for the second season of ‘Inside Edge’ which he says will be out very soon.
The talented actor is also trained in martial arts, and is not averse to performing stunts in films, “Of course, why not? I am ready to do stunts and in fact, you will see that very soon,” he says.
