IRB personnel hold cleanliness drive at Kadamba plateau

VALPOI: Keeping in view the nationwide ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ the Indian Reserve Battalion staff attached to Ribander camp held a special cleanliness drive along the state highway of Kadamba plateau recently.

IRB personnel were spotted with brooms on the highway in a special cleanliness drive organised in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of clean India. The personnel were addressed by Police Inspector Sachin Gawas about the importance of cleanliness. “It was a great experience for our staff in cleaning the entire stretch of the highway. Around 50 staff members including myself, PSI Gangaram Kolekar and Dattaprasant Torasker initiated this cleanliness drive which started at 8 am and lasted till 11 am” said PI Sachin Gawas.
