Inventrom, a Goa based start-up, has been declared the winner of the India Innovation Growth Program at a ceremony held in Delhi on May 13. The awards were distributed by Union Minister of Science and Technology Earth Sciences Harsh Vardhan. As a part of this program the ten best innovators, which includes Inventrom, have been selected to visit the Silicon Valley in the USA. This will allow them to grow in markets beyond India.
Inventrom has won the award for their work with NetPlug: An Internet of Things device.
The team that worked on NetPlug consists of Dattaprasad Naik and Lllewllyn Fernandes, who worked on the electronics, and Haston Silva and Akshay Shekher, who worked on software development. The team was led by founder of Inventrom Pranav Pai Vernekar.
