PANAJI: The Central Zoo Authority has approved a long-term master plan for Bondla Zoo, to be executed over five years, following which the zoological park would have a totally new look, even as the zoo has had three new additions (one newly-born bison calf and two sloth bears) to its existing number of wild animals over the last ten days.

PANAJI: Maintaining that Goa can act as a bridge between India and Portugal, the Ambassador of India to Portugal, Ms Primrose Sharma on Tuesday said that the ties existing between Goa and Portugal, in the fields of art and culture can be utilised to establish Indo-Portuguese relations in much wider fields like industry, infrastructure and tourism. She also said that the umbrella agreement existing between TAP Portugal, the national airline of Portugal, and former colonies of Portugal could be extended to Goa – with at least one Lisbon-Goa-Lisbon flight every fortnight – so as to boost the Indo-Portuguese tourism.
