To be beautiful and healthy you should sow the seeds of health and beauty from a young age. You should not drink alcohol even if you can’t do without it. You should not consume more then two drinks per day.
Alcohol gives rise to high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity and even cancer. Instead drink green tea.Research has shown that drinking green tea regularly not only lowers bad cholesterol but also prevents certain types of cancers.
Another harmful product for the body is tobacco. It reduces the immunity of the body and starts affecting the health and the beauty of a person. Besides affecting the health, it affects the outer appearance also. Tobacco gives rise to stained teeth and stained fingers. It gives unwanted wrinkles and also dehydrates the skin. Instead of chewing tobacco, try to eat sugar-free chewing gum, this exercises the face and reduces flabbiness and wrinkles and makes the gums and teeth healthy.
Keep away from fried foods these give rise to bad cholesterol. Opt for products which are made of oats like oat cookies, oat bread, oat cake, etc. Studies have shown that oats not only maintain blood sugar levels in the body but also reduce the chance of getting heart disease, besides they are excellent for curing constipation. Constipation gives rise to boils, acne, under eye dark circles, etc. Another wonder food is grapefruit. A grape fruit a day keeps bad skin away. Grapefruit can not only fight dreadful diseases besides it helps in reducing obesity and cures insomnia which again is a beauty killer, in the same way you should eat nuts, grains, seeds which again are excellent beautifiers. Garlic too is a very good food for lowering cholesterol and blood pressure besides it helps prevent bodily and beauty infections since it is chockfull of antioxidants. Leafy green vegetables and egg yolks also contain antioxidants because these contain lutein, a photochemical which fights free radicals.
