Salgaocar’s Wadoo will train J&K youngsters

PANAJI, 17 April: Jammu & Kashmir’s international footballer Mehrajuddin Wadoo, who plays for Salgaocar Sports Club in the I-League, is going to coach youngsters in Kashmir from 19 April in a month long camp at the SP College ground in Srinagar.

Wadoo, will be arriving in the valley on 18 April on a month-long seasonal vacation. He has agreed to conduct a coaching camp for youngsters in collaboration with Iqbal Sports Club.

Apart from training players of Iqbal Sports club and Young Iqbal Club, he will also be training youngsters from all over the Valley. President of Iqbal Sports Club Bashir Ahmad Malik said, “It is an honour to see a footballer of international repute agreeing to conduct a month-long coaching camp for us. He is a product of our club, and when we requested him to hold this camp, he readily accepted.”

Wadoo will be in Kashmir for around 45 days and will impart coaching to players and youngsters at SP College at 7 am each morning. The camp is open for any footballer from the state.
