PANJIM: Pioneer Western Dance Academy of Vasco, ‘Simply Ballroom’ organised a programme of music and dance ‘Remembering Michael Jackson’ on Thursday at the MPT Sayantara Auditorium, Sada, Vasco-Da-Gama, to a packed audience.

Mr Milind Naik, MLA Mormugao constituency was present for the show.
The show took off with a performance of one of the songs of Michael Jackson ‘Billie Jean’ by young Neil Fernandes. This was followed by a performance of the song ‘Smile’ by Event coordinator, Mick Fernandes and Ms Shruti.
The songs ‘Human nature’, ‘Give in to me’, ‘Black or White’, ‘They don’t care about us’,  where performed by the band with Neil on the vocals and lead  guitar; Shiv on the lead guitar;  Nikhil and Aldrich on the Rythm guitars  and young Mozwin on the drums.
The song ‘I just can't stop loving you’ was rendered by Dr Elisa and Malcolm, while song ‘I'll be there’  was sung by singing sensation Wayne Remedios.
‘Dangerous’ was sung by  Neil, Sohail, Deepankar and Manoj; while ‘Heal the world’ was sung by the little children of Simply Ballroom Dance Academy.
A song sung by Michael Jackson for a young child Ryan White who died of AIDS ‘Gone to soon’ was sung by Mick Fernandes at the show.
