IMA organised its 7thnational competition in Chennai on August 20. A delegation of 131 students, 70 parents and 10 trainers/franchisees went from Goa.

As per IMA philosophy all children are eligible as they compete in their own age groups. The journey was very memorable, educational and adventurous. The children were also taken around Chennai and Bangalore for sightseeing.

The students of IMA Goa have returned from Chennai where they fared extremely well and have come back with laurels and accolades.

The awardees are Ryle Souto, grade  UG 10, Porvorim; Shubham Chipkar,  grade   9,                                 Mapusa; Yash Naik, grade   7, Margao; Aditi Joshi, grade 1, Margao  

Goa also won the Best State and Best Master Franchisee Award which was collected by Mr Kush Khaitan, marketing director, Sunshine Worldwide School.

The International level Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition 2010 will be held on August 29 where 16 students from Goa are participating.
