The feast of St Minguel at the Holy Cross Church, Verna, was celebrated with pomp and gaiety. Main celebrant for the high mass was Fr Conceicao D’Silva. The high mass, which held at 10 a.m., was followed by the procession of Sao Minguel. A fair was also set up outside the church.
