‘Pashan Kali’ released

The second edition of the Marathi novel, ‘Pashan Kali’ by Jyoti Kuncolienkar was recently released at the Kala Academy premises by the Programme Executive of Kala Academy, Dr Govind Kale

. The novel which was originally written in Konkani has been translated into Marathi by Chitrasen Shabab.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kale said that the novel is a harrowing story of a girl who is in search for real love. “It forces the readers to think over the present artificial lifestyle as adopted by many rich families,” he added. 

Historian, Mr Prajal Sakhardande and the publisher of the book, Mr Tribhuvan Joshi were also present on the occasion. Mr Sakhardande is translating the book into English. The book will also be published in Hindi.
