Hyundai Motor India is started off 2020 briskly with the launch of its most anticipated product, Aura. The compact sedan is targeted at young aspirational customers. It aims at redefining the segment with best-in-class features, power-train options and premium cabin design.
The car was launched in the state on January 22 in both the dealerships, Goa Hyundai, Verna and Alcon Hyundai, Porvorim. Pricing starts at Rs 579,900 (base petrol 1.2), Rs 854,900 (petrol 1.0) and Rs 773,900 (base diesel 1.2) and bookings are with payment of Rs 10,000.
Speaking of the latest launch, SS Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “The all new Aura marks industry’s first and the most significant launch of the deacde-2020. The sedan conveys a modern and stunning design, offering versatile characteristics exhibiting elegant styling and bold character form to deliver a fresh interpretation of Hyundai’s signature design language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ specifically crafted for progressive urban and millennial customers.”
According to the company, the car is expected to be a game changer by creating new excitement and establishing new benchmarks in the automobile industry. The exteriors of the car is defined by five pillars, said the company. This includes, modern design, spacious interiors, technology and advanced powertrain options.
In design the Aura looks sporty. It has daytime running lamps, projector type head lamps and fog lamps. The Z-shaped LED tail lamps gives the car a smart, sporty stance. In performance the vehicle is powered with 1.2 litre BS 6 diesel engine, Kappa 1.0 litre petrol engine and 1.2 litre MPI petrol engine.
