HOMTOM enters Indian smartphone market

OPPO A5 has launched in India for `14,990. The device has 6.2-inch full view display and runs on ColorOS v5.1 based on Android v8.1 Oreo. It has 4GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD support. This dual-SIM capable phone is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. On the optics front it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a secondary 2-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the network side its network capabilities include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. The device has a 4100mAh (minimum) built-in battery. It is available in blue and red colour options and can be bought via online and offline stores.
Lava has launched a budget Android Go phone – Z60s for `4,949. The phone comes with a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1280 pixels x 720 pixels. The phone has 1GB RAM and comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It is powered by the 1.5GHz Quad-core processor and is of dual-SIM capability. The phone has a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera sporting LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It runs on Android v8.1 Oreo Go Edition and its network features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS. The device has a 2500mAh battery. Lava Z60s is available in gold and black colours.
Shenzhen-based mobile maker HOMTOM has entered the Indian market with H1, H3 and H5 series smartphones. HOMTOM H1 comes with 5.5-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with a resolution of 640X1280 pixels. The phone runs on 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek Processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The device has a 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. This dual-SIM supported SIM phone runs on Android v8.1 Oreo edition. The phone comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 2-megapixel camera. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The phone has fingerprint sensor and face unlock capabilities. Network features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS. The HOMTOM H1 has a 3000mAh battery and is available in black and gold colours, it is priced at `7,499.
On the other hand, H3 has a 5.5-inch display with the same aspect ratio but has a resolution of 720 pixels x 1440 pixels In-Cell display. It is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek processor and comes with 3GB RAM. It features 32GB internal memory which can be expanded using microSD support. This dual-SIM phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 2-megapixel camera. The front-facing camera is 8-megapixel and sports LED flash. It too runs on Android v8.1 Oreo edition. Network features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS. The phone has a 3500mAh battery and is available in black, silver and blue colours. The phone is priced at `9,990.
Homtom H5 comes with a 5.7-inch In-Cell display featuring 1.3GHz MediaTek processor. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB using microSD support. This dual-SIM phone features Android v8.1 Oreo edition and comes with support for fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock. The phone features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS. This device has 3300mAh battery onboard. Homtom H5 comes in black and gold colours and is priced at `10,990. All the three models come with a three-year warranty and two screen replacement covers.
Infinix Note 5 has been launched in India. The phone comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160 pixels x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 processor with 800 MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is another variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android v8.1 Oreo edition and is dual-SIM capable. The phone has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Network features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS and USB OTG. The phone has a 4500mAh battery with fast charging facility. The Infinix Note 5 is available in Berlin gray, Milan black and ice blue colours. The 3GB edition costs `9,999 and while the 4GB edition costs `11,999. The phone will be available from August 31.
