Main celebrant of high mass was by rector of Rachol Seminary Fr Aleixo Menezes that was commenced at 10.30 a.m. The procession was held within the premises of the church as an annual ritual of the feast.

At the end of the high mass, Fr Aleixo released the book ‘Unum Presbyterium: Diocesan Priests of the Tiswadi Taluka’. He congratulated Fr Nascimento who authored the book and said: “In the era of mass media, communication and technology, Fr Nascimento has released a book by self-research which involves a lot of task. I congratulate him and hope he releases his third series soon.” Fr Avinash Rebello was also present for the function.

In the book, Fr Nascimento has listed Diocesan priests from Tiswadi, while the first series listed Diocesan priests from Bardez. On the feast day, people visited the fair to purchase dried fish and spices which is the crucial part of the feast stalls.
