Govt College of Commerce holds series of motivational talks

The Government College of Commerce, Borda, Margao organised a series of talks during the last week of September 2014 for the enrichment and empowerment of students.

Datta Prasad Shrigukar discussed with First Year and Second Year BCom students the various forthcoming competitive examinations.  In his talk, the guest speaker stressed on employment opportunities generated through UPSC examinations. He chalked out the strategy for cracking competitive examinations and the approach for preparing for the same.

On the second day, Vividh Pawaskar spoke on the topic ‘Glow and Grow’. In his address, he emphasised the need for students to enjoy whatever they do in life.  Success in the true sense can be availed only by those who enjoy the assignments and work they take up.  Developing an attitude of enjoying work will make life easy and simple.

On the third day, Sushant Surlakar addressed students on leadership and team work. He spoke on different types of leadership and the essential qualities of a leader. Further, he explained the importance of team work, problems encountered when working as a group and the possible solutions to overcome problems.

Rajesh Gaonkar of Adarsha Institute of Management addressed students on motivation and positive attitude. He elaborated on different techniques for motivating students. Further he elaborated the advantages of owing a positive attitude in life.
