The Minister for Panchayati Raj, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Protocol and Hospitality Mauvin Godinho attended the Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting on ‘Real Estate’ at New Delhi on Friday.
The meeting was presided over by the chairman of Real Estate Committee Nitin Patel who is also the Minister for Finance of Gujarat state.
Various issues pertaining to the Real Estate industry which is in dump and also has been collapsed to a great extent were discussed in the GoM meeting.
The recommendations made by Godinho, who represents Goa will be forwarded to the GST council for the approvals in order to resolve the issues in the Real Estate businesses.
The GoM meeting also has discussed some major issues represented by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), the apex body of all registered Real Estate Builders and Developers in India.
