PANAJI: The Election Commission of India has directed the authorities of all the states, including Goa, where elections to the state legislative assemblies are scheduled to be held in the near future, to keep close surveillance and prevent movement of all spurious items including undisclosed cash and fake currency notes till the completion of poll process.
