MAPUSA: The Goa SU Raj Party is gearing up for the 2017 Assembly elections by declaring 30 candidates for the upcoming elections. The party has also declared its manifesto for the polls.
The manifesto states that if the party comes to power it will ensure that Dabolim airport will continue in the state and Mopa will be dropped. The party also wants the Navy to shift its operation to Karwar or Belgaum.
The manifesto states that Goa will be turned into a vibrant education hub while Konkani in Romi and Devanagiri scripts will be the sole language of the state.
Communidades to be given their pre 1961 status to revive agriculture in the state. Special laboratory to test samples of construction materials such as concrete etc.
Addressing media on Saturday at its head office in Mapusa the founder member and general secretary of Goa Su Raj party Floriano Lobo said, “We shall not be adverse to an alignment with likeminded parties to defeat the non performing evils that Goans desire to banish.”
