VALPOI: ‘Sattari Patrakar Sang’ had organised Student Counselling and Guidance programme for SSC students of rural areas of Sattari taluka at Sri Ram High School, Khadki-Sattari.
Mr Dilip Betkekar, a renowned retired teacher was the key-note speaker. In his motivating speech to the students, Mr Dilip said that rural students are intelligent but they don’t use facilities available to them in a smarter way. "Use diagram, pictures and symbolic study techniques for longer remembrance", he asked the students. He further said that proper technique of studying will benefit more in less time as he added time management is important for answering SSC exam. "Read more and more text books which will enrich your subject knowledge and will help you to answer any set of questions," he stressed.
Students from Sri Ram High School, Government high school, Guleli, Government High school, Savorde participated in this interactive session. Other dignitaries present on the dais were Mr Shivaji Desai, Mr Palekar and Mr Uday Sawant.
Earlier, the president of Sattari Patrakar Sang, Mr Uday Sawant welcomed the gathering while Mr Suresh Zarekar proposed the vote of thanks.
