MARGAO: The former tourism minister, Francisco Pacheco alias Mickky was on Sunday late evening admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim after he complained of chest pain.

The Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao had remanded Mickky to 14-day judicial custody at Sada Jail. Mickky was taken to the GMC in police escort. GMC sources said that he is being treated.

Meanwhile, the Additional District and Sessions Judge, South Goa, Mr Justice B P Deshpande has posted the matter for orders on Mickky’s bail application on Monday.
