CANACONA: A delegation led by Mr Chase Untermayer, the former US Ambassador to Qatar, visited the Government Primary School at Talpona, Canacona on Thursday. Under the aegis of Monarch Hotel Ltd, they distributed umbrellas and sweets to the students.

The teachers and students were very happy to receive them and recited poems and National Anthem.

The delegation comprising of Mrs and Mr Albert Ostertag, Mr Klaus M Kellermann, Ms Ritva Salke, Ms Audrey Barthelemy, Mrs and Mr Andre Gemignani and Mrs and Mr Rolf Falkenberg, were very pleased with the level of education provided to the students and also expressed their continued support.

The said initiative shall provide long-term support in providing education to the students and better development of the society at large.
