Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO), a peer-to-peer network of entrepreneurs across the world unveiled its Goa chapter on Friday.
The new chapter, the 22nd in the network was launched with 17 members initially comprising of local industrialists.
Speaking at the launch, Ashwin Khalap, president, said that the outfit would enrich the state through peer to peer learning, connection with experts and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. “Businessmen are the future leaders of the world and an international and easily accessible community is only the next step,” he said.
Urging fellow entrepreneurs to join the organisation, Sumeet Bhobe, membership chair said, “One of the great tools that members can take advantage of is the peer-peer sharing forum between members in a trusted and confidential environment.”
The launch of the Goa chapter was attended by Milind Deora, former MP and union minister, Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax, actress Pooja Bedi and Ambar Timblo managing director Fomento Resources and president, GMOEA.
Members said that the organisation would undertake several initiatives to foster learning, development and inclusive growth within the entrepreneur community.
