G R Kare College of Law inaugurated an Internship Cell and an Entrepreneurship Cell in association with Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA) on January 10, 2015. The inauguration was done at the hands of senior advocate and advocate general for the State of Goa, Atmaram Nadkarni.
The Entrepreneurship Cell and Internship Cell is an innovative and new concept, introduced for the first time in the law college. Through CIBA, the Entrepreneurship Cell would help students understand various benefits of entrepreneurship and think of it as a viable and lucrative career option and also encourage independent and entrepreneurial talent. Internship Cell would provide internship opportunities in corporate houses, companies, NGOs, orphanages, public consumer forums, etc.
Atmaram Nadkarni delivered a lecture as a part of the ongoing lecture series, “GRK Talks”. Recently, the law college has also commenced a lecture series under the name ‘GRK Talks’ which takes place on second and fourth Saturday of every month. Eminent personalities from various fields are invited to the law campus to deliver talks on diverse subjects. The talks are open to members of the public and distinguished speakers from all over India have been invited to deliver the talks. The lecture series was recently inaugurated by former Union Law minister, Ramakant Khalap.
Chairman of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Ganesh Daivajna, vice president of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Nitin Kunkolinker, 2nd vice president, Pritam Moraes and Sheels Gaunekar, were also present for the occasion.
