FC Goa Developmental Team outplayed Mumbai City Reserves 3-0 in the 2nd Division I-League match played at Nagoa Panchayat ground on Wednesday. Kapil Hoble, Aaren D’silva and Sarenio were the goal scorers for the Gaurs.

Left back Sarineo Fernandes and goalkeeper Dylan Da Silva were back in the team for this game. Lalnunzama looked a threat from the beginning, eager to get into goal scoring positions, and it was his flick from a corner that led to the opening goal of the
game.

It was Kapil Hoble who broke the deadlock as he scored after taking a header that was shot by Lalnunzama off a corner. The early goal helped the team settle, and defensive solidity helped keep the score down to 1-0 at half-time.

In the second half FC Goa looked like a dominating side after Aaren, who was introduced in the game late scored just ten minutes into second half. Aaren found himself one-on-one with Mumbai goalkeeper Nishit Shetty, and the forward calmly dinked the ball over him to make it 2-0.

Dylan, who was standing under the FC Goa goal post saved some good shots and kept the opposition score zero.

Sarineo shot the last goal of the day as he went down the left touchline and ran all the way firing his shot past Nishit’s near post to make it 3-0.

FC Goa had a few more chances to add goals to the tally but as the final whistle blew it was 3-0 for the
gaurs.
