Budget talk at GCCI on Feb 2

PANAJI: The Union Budget for 2018-19 will be presented on February 1. Every  year, soon  after  the presentation  of  the  Union  Budget,   the  GCCI in  association  with the Goa  branch  of  Western  India  Regional  Council  of  ICAI, arranges  eminent  resource persons  to  speak  about  the  budget  proposals  and  to  give  the  Goan  public  a expert  critique  of  the  government’s  policy  initiatives. NeoGrowth Credit raises Rs 300 cr in a round led by Leapfrog Investments

MUMBAI: NeoGrowth Credit Pvt Ltd, one of the pioneering digital financial lender to small and medium businesses founded by Dhruv and Piyush Khaitan in 2012, has raised Rs 300 crore of equity capital.  LeapFrog Investments, the largest dedicated equity investor in financial services and healthcare for emerging consumers, led the round, with existing investors Aspada Investment Company and Quona Capital, through Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund also participating. PMI’s latest salary survey reveals PMP in India earn 36% more

MUMBAI: Project Management Institute’s (PMI), earning power report reveals a significant advantage in earning potential for PMP certified practitioners. Survey respondents holding the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification report higher median salaries than those without a PMP certification―36% higher on average in India and 23% globally across the 37 countries surveyed. The Earning Power: project management salary survey is a comprehensive biennial salary survey that offers insight into the value of project management skills, experience and certifications. It is an industry-leading source of data, giving project management practitioners a greater awareness of their earning potential and helping employers, compensation committees, human resource departments and executive recruiters to better determine salary ranges. The 10th edition of the survey incorporates information from more than 33,000 project management practitioners in 37 countries across the globe.
