In the midst of the festive season, Dziners, a reputed name for formal suits and gowns, is turning up the spotlight on its Bespoke clothing range for men.
The range offers clothing made to an individual buyer’s specifications. It differs from ready-to-wear range which is factory made, in finished condition and of standardised sizes. “The garments are about detailed hand finishing for the customer who is very busy to even visit showrooms and wait for their turn amongst many customers at the counter,” said Andrew David Fernandes, proprietor of Dziners.
He said that, the term bespoke in fashion is reserved for individually patterned and crafted clothing in contrast to mass-manufactured, ready-to-wear. “Since the development of ready-to-wear in the beginning of the twentieth century, hand-crafted clothing is now more expensive and is generally accompanied by a high quality of construction,” he said.
The Bespoke range was launched a year back and has satisfied number of clients who are not just happy with the service but are also recommending to friends and colleagues, according to Fernandes.
