Weather in the state is expected to remain dry with light to moderate rainfall most likely to occur in many places over the next 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD in its medium range forecast starting from Saturday has predicted cloudy sky with moderate rainfall at most places and heavy rainfall in isolated places which will continue till Monday.

The entire state of Goa has been receiving good rainfall activity since June 6. However, rain intensity was seen reducing during the last 2-3 days.
The offshore trough running along the west coast that has been responsible for good showers over the state has now weakened and is now confined to South Karnataka to Camorin area and upto the interiors of Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the weather is expected to remain dry and warm during the next three days but isolated light rains will be witnessed in the state.
