Drishti lifeguards will be recognised on the Sony TV’s ‘Indian Idol’, as part of its Republic Day special to be aired on January 26, 8 p.m.
The episode pays tribute not only to the Army and CRPF forces, but also to those who work unseen to keep the public safe. The first responder emergency servicemen – lifeguards, firefighters, ambulance personnel and others will be felicitated in the upcoming January 26 special episode. 13 lifeguards representing the force in Goa and Mumbai attended the day-long shoot at Film City Mumbai.
Each contestant on ‘Indian Idol’ will offer tribute to the protectors of our nation with a song or two. Drishti lifeguards will share their stories along with other extraordinary men of courage.
“The lifeguards who attended from Goa belong to the dedicated and responsible team who have continued to work and rescue, never abandoning their posts to keep the beaches of Goa safe. They thoroughly enjoyed this celebration of their hard work on a national platform,” said executive
director, Drishti Marine, Ravi Shankar.
‘Indian Idol’ is hosted by singer Aditya Narayan. The judges are Neha Kakkar along with Vishal Dadlani and Himmesh Reshammiya.
